The 3-Series rendition of the JHS Screamer packs the popular 'Strong Mod' up inside a self-contained stompbox. The 'Strong Mod' story began back in 2008 when JHS were busy modifying the TS9 to meet demands for more volume, more clarity, and of course, a unique sonic character. The same circuit voices the JHS-mode of the popular Bonsai, and here, it's all been brought together in one neat box. The JHS 3 Series Screamer has been built in the USA using high-quality components and is all yours for a surprisingly modest investment.

A solid pedalboard essential no-matter your stylistic leanings, the 3 Series Screamer is one of the most balanced and elastically versatile tube-screamers you can lay your grubby mitts on. This stompbox offers increased clean headroom; can serve as a superior boost pedal; and supplies an incredible, multi-faceted set of drive and tone controls backed up by excellent frequency response. The fitted mini-switch, meanwhile, flips between two clipping modes, so guitarists are offered the pick of asymmetrical JHS Strong Mod clipping, and symmetrical TS9/TS808 style clipping as preferred.
